What is Mapicus?
Mapicus is a map-first travel app. Every photo you share is pinned to the place it was taken, and photos from one trip become a journey you can play back stop by stop and share as a card. It's free on iOS and Android.
Is Mapicus free?
Yes. Downloading Mapicus and mapping your trips is free on both the App Store and Google Play.
Can I add trips from years ago?
Yes. Add older photos as memories: pick the place and the date they're from, and they drop onto your map dated to when they happened, so your map fills up with everywhere you've been.
Who can see my photos and journeys?
You decide. Each trip can be public, visible to followers only, or private, and your whole account can be set to private. Public journeys get a web page like the ones on this site so friends without the app can still see them.
How do I share a journey?
Open a trip and tap Share. Mapicus makes a story-sized card with the route and a link; anyone who opens the link sees the journey on the web and can open it in the app.
Which languages does Mapicus support?
English, Turkish, Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Russian and Chinese, with light and dark themes.
